About Us

Operating at the Intersection of Creativity and Wellness

Tulip Tree Healing Arts Collective is a community-based business that aims to bring individuals together by encouraging and celebrating our differences while knowing we are more alike then we are not.

Our Story

Tulip Tree Collective was born in early 2022, when the need for connection and creativity felt more important than ever. Founder Julia Hyndman envisioned a space where people could come together to heal, express themselves, find peace, and rediscover the power of community.

Since then, Tulip Tree has blossomed into more than a healing space — it’s a creative hub where massage, movement, art, and shared experiences remind us what it means to be alive. Together with a growing circle of collaborators, we host classes, create art, and offer resources that inspire, restore, and awaken.

As Tulip Tree continues to grow, we are deepening our roots in creativity and community, expanding into education and event support — empowering others to create spaces that heal, connect, and transform.

At Tulip Tree Collective we believe in…

Rooted Integrity

We lead with honesty, humility, and responsibility — honoring our word and our relationships.

Authentic Connection

We value compassion, curiosity, and courageous conversations that bring people together.

Creative Joy

We make space for play, abundance, and self-expression — because community thrives in joy.

Embodied Wisdom

We trust in the wisdom of the body, the land, and collective experience to guide our work.

Why a collective?

Tulip Tree Collective began as one person’s dream of a community where healing, creativity, and connection could thrive. What started as a solo project has grown into a true collective — a team of collaborators, practitioners, and the community itself.

We see every client, every dancer, every market-goer as part of the collective. Your presence helps shape the work we do, and we wouldn’t be here without you.

Looking ahead, we’re planting the seeds for what’s next — expanding our team, growing our educational offerings, and working toward a future space where art, movement, and community all live under one roof. If you’d like to collaborate or get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

What is a sliding scale price model?

Sliding scale fees are variable prices for services based off the customer’s ability to pay. Fees are reduced for those who have lower income. Sliding scale fees are a form of equity priceing.
Support Needed
$

This option is for those with lower or fixed income, financial hardship, or increased life expenses. It’s here to make this work accessible when resources are limited — including for single parents and anyone needing extra support.

Standard
$$

This is the typical price for my services. It’s ideal if you have a steady income, are not experiencing financial hardship, or prefer to skip using the sliding scale. If you are able, I invite you to choose this option.

Community Support
$$$

This option is for those with higher income, who feel generous, or want to help cover the cost for those needing financial support. Choosing this tier helps keep services accessible for everyone.

Feeling confused? Just go with the standard option.

Are you still having trouble paying for your appointment?

We can take HSF and FSA, as well as we can offer payment plans and work trade. Reach out to us directly to find out more.
