Embodied Dance Movement
Instructor(s):
Julia

Description:
Embodied Dance Movement is a guided movement practice where the instuctor offers cues to bring awareness to the body, then invites participants to move in response to their internal sensations in relationship to music.
The music begins slowly, builds to a high-energy peak, and gradually returns to a place of restoration.
This approach draws from principles of Dance Movement Therapy, a modality shown to support emotional well-being and reduce symptoms of stress and depression.
This practice is well-suited for those who enjoy movement, are curious about deepening their connection to their body, and are interested in exploring that process in a supportive group setting.
