Ecstatic Dance Promenade - MEDIA DAY

Full Moon Ecstatic Dance presented by Tulip Tree Healing Arts Collective & Dance Promenade hosted by Promenade Park.

MEDIA DAY!

This dance is a FREE community dance. We will be gathering marketing material for this dance, so be prepared for the possibilty of getting photographed or videographed. There will be waivers to sign at the beginning.

Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance movement journey, held in a safe and sacred container. It’s a place where we can be our unique selves without distraction. The music gradually builds intensity into an ecstatic state and gently brings us back down. It is a dance done with no talking, no shoes, and no drugs/alcohol to support the ease of finding authenticity and a meditative space.

Arrive by 6:30PM for a somatic dance warm-up led by Julia and circle up by 7PM for the ecstatic dance.

We are very excited to announce this month's DJ is PUMAS

PUMAS is the electronic music project of Alejandro Soto. Creating a space that encourages the free expression of the audience is central to what PUMAS is all about. It’s a celebration of being alive and finding what it feels like to be a human being. Check out more on SoundCloud.

This dance is located at Promenade Park in the green lawn along S Harrison St..
